More about me
I’m Tessa, a Dallas-based motherhood and family photographer.
I create a full-service experience centered around preserving your family’s story in a tangible, lasting way. From the moment we begin, every step is thoughtfully guided so your images don’t just live on a screen, but become part of your home through custom heirloom artwork and albums.
My work is rooted in connection, intention, and creating something your children will grow up seeing and holding onto for years to come.

Choosing a photographer can often feel a little transactional.
You scroll through portfolios, compare pricing, choose a date, and a few weeks later a gallery arrives in your inbox. Somewhere along the way, what should feel meaningful begins to feel like a simple exchange.
That has never been what I wanted this to be.
And it’s not what you’ll find here.
From the very beginning, I’ve believed this work is meant to feel deeply personal, because it is. You’re not simply booking a session. You’re inviting someone into a fleeting, meaningful season of your life. That kind of trust is never lost on me.
When I work with your family, I want to know you. I want to understand what this season feels like, what you want to hold onto, what matters most in the quiet in between moments. This isn’t about showing up once, delivering a gallery, and parting ways. It’s about walking through the experience together, from our first conversation to the moment your images are thoughtfully placed within your home.
Because that’s where they’re meant to live.
Part of the reason I care so deeply about this comes from how I was raised. We had photographs in our home that we could hold, albums we could pull from the shelf, images that were woven into the fabric of our everyday life. They weren’t tucked away or forgotten. They were present, constant, and quietly shaping how we remembered.
Now, as an adult, those photographs have become some of the most meaningful pieces of my life. They hold fragments of my childhood that I wouldn’t be able to access in the same way without them. In many ways, they’ve become part of who I am.
And I carry that with me into every session.
On my Instagram, you might come across a verse that I’ve kept close to me.
“Here I am. Send me.” Isaiah 6:8
It’s there for my clients to see, but even more than that, it’s a daily reminder for me.
I came across that verse after I started this business, and it felt unmistakably clear, like a quiet, steady calling placed on my heart. A sense of this is where you’re meant to be. This is where you’re meant to serve. This is where you’re meant to reflect His light.
And it’s something I return to often.
Because none of this has ever felt random. The love I’ve always had for photography, the years I spent caring for children and being immersed in the rhythm of family life, the deep desire to preserve what is fleeting, it all came together in a way that only God could have orchestrated.
I truly believe this is what I’ve been called into.
Not simply to create something beautiful, but to serve families in a way that feels lasting. To preserve what is real before it slips into memory. To reflect the love that already exists within your home and give it a place to live on.
And what I didn’t expect is how much this work would give back to me.
I get to step into your lives and witness love in its most honest form. The way you hold your babies, the way your children reach for you without thinking, the quiet, sacred moments that so often go unnoticed. There is so much beauty there. So much goodness.
It never feels one sided.
So when you step into this experience, I want you to know it isn’t just about the images.
It’s about being seen.
It’s about preserving what matters before it changes.
It’s about creating something your children will one day hold in their hands and recognize as part of their story.
If this is the kind of experience you’ve been longing for, something more intentional, more personal, more lasting, I would be honored to walk alongside your family in this season.
Your images deserve more than a screen.
Each session is designed with your home in mind from the very beginning. Together, we’ll create something lasting, whether that’s a custom album or artwork for your walls.
Because these moments won’t stay the same, but the way you remember them can.
